Downtown Holiday Fest Fun!

Downtown's Holiday Fest kicks off this season with the Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday November 25.


Fort Wayne's long running tradition of lighting Santa and his reindeer isn't the only thing going on downtown this year. The Downtown Improvement District and their partners are bringing together downtown Fort Wayne to host a season long Holiday Fest!


The Embassy Theatre, the Botanical Conservatory, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Community Center, History Center, Headwaters Park,TinCaps, Holiday Houses for Habitat, and Science Central are hosting a variety of festive events that are sure to excite the whole family.


It all begins on Wednesday, November 25, as the official downtown lighting ceremony continues it's long running tradition of dazzling both the young and the young at heart. Be sure to come downtown and experience this unique event this year, it promises to be magical.


Whether it's eating gingerbread cookies at the History Center's Festival of Gingerbread or working off those cookies at the Headwaters Park ice rink, downtown Fort Wayne has many exciting events planned for this holiday season that everyone is sure to enjoy.
